Hollywood Sign

The Hollywood Sign, built in 1923, is one of the most recognized symbols of the entertainment industry. Located in the Hollywood Hills, it can be viewed from Griffith Observatory, Lake Hollywood Park, and Mulholland Highway. Popular hiking routes include Mt. Hollywood Trail, Brush Canyon Trail, and Cahuenga Peak Trail. The closest legal viewing point is behind the sign via Mt. Lee. No direct access to the letters is allowed.
